How does one find/get/court an attractive Asian lady?

I’m ethnically East Asian and know many East Asian women. What posters describe in this thread are new to me.

 

not to me...i'm east indian too and you surely know atbout arranged marriages...the guys who are doctors or lawyers get to marry the most beautiful girls. there are exceptions but that's what i see most often. the average guys get average looking wives. blah blah blah

This thread is full of stark generalizations. Of course there are differences between any cultural background but the key factor is that if OP has poor social skills he is going to run into problems with any kind of woman that he dates.

I don't think it's unrealistic. Asian faces take makeup well. Because noses and brows are not as prominent, you can paint it like painting a portrait on canvas. By using shading and highlighting, you can transform a face. It's easier to transform an asian young man into a pretty girl by professional makeup techniques than it is to make Gene Hackman into a pretty woman.

 

Notice how the Moranbong girls all look similar? They have the same makeup technician backstage doing their faces before they go on. I dated a few TV and movie actors and it's amazing what the makeup department can do. The Moranbong and other acts are pre-packaged products. It's like the Spice Girls band was a packaged product/act.

 

So yes you can get a "homely" (hopefully loyal) asian girl then turn her into a hot babe with a makeover.

In general, Asian society is more conservative. They're more strict about dating/marrying for wealth because it's more important to conform to the family's wishes - no one would approve of a woman dating/marrying below her market value, and she'd probably get a very hard time about it.

 

They're also generally more strict and attach more shame to "inappropriate" relationship behavior such as "living in sin" and divorce. Things have to look right from the outside or you shame your family.

 

As with all dating/mating, men will do better dating/mating with women whose expectations financial and otherwise are satisfied by the partnership.

I really hate paying for match. You log on and it's the same people on everyday of the week and the few half way looking clean women either look like fake profiles or are so stuck up and full of themselves as talked about in those two other threads digging for gold.

 

 

Christian Mingle has hardly anyone from West coast of FL active on it and Eharmony cost even more and within 100 miles does not have a large pool to choose from for the money you pay. Bumble and such had slutty looking women on it.

 

 

Like you pay for those premier sites and like 50 decent women on their to choose from with active profiles within 70 miles. Do the math. 40 bucks a month to see mostly the same profiles again that are either fake, gold diggers, or have such high standards.

If you're talking girls born in South Korea, Japan, China, you're gonna find a long laundry list of things you have to be in relation to status, looks, education, income. There are a lot of societal expectations baked into dating preferences there. They don't see a white guy as a step up from a successful man in their own cultures.

 

If you want to go Asian for reasons like looks, traditional gender roles, more focus on quality of character, sweet disposition and - I mean this in a generally good way - less picky and more likely to give a normal guy a shot, try Thai. I agree with you. My brother married a Slavic girl from Ukraine and is happy for 6 years he has 3 children. And my friend on vacation met a girl from Vietnam, and happy. Living in Southern California I have more Asian friends than any other race and I am also about to marry a Chinese man so I'm close to his friends as well and I know if you even come so close as to hint that you are interested in them bc they are Asian (mentioning you are interested in dating an Asian or saying "oh I've never dated an Asian before") they will end the conversation right there. Even if a comment is unintentional or a seemingly innocent they're still over it. Most of them make their own money and they get hit on constantly (at least in SoCal they do) so they couldn't care less about turning a guy down for a dumb reason bc they'll get hit on again in 10 minutes

 

My beautiful Mexican friends had a discussion the other day how when white guys try to hit on them they say stupid things like "omg I love tacos!" hahaha so they ruin any chance with those type of statements.

 

If you want an asian lady just talk to her like she's like any other woman (bc she is) and don't bring up race or Asain food or anything else that looks like you're trying too hard. Its a huge turn off to them.
