fieldoflavender Posted March 20, 2019 Share Posted March 20, 2019 Life isn't black or white - only mild mannered or jerks. The issue is - successful nice guys are -- often married with children. If they're still single, well there could be a reason. And no, some people can be sexy and aggressive in the right context, and still not be a pushover and soft in all facets of their life. It's just a harder to find that balance as you get older in someone who has it all and is not a jerk. They're not just going to be sitting there. I know of tons - and they're mostly married with kids. I would tell my younger self that. That's why sometimes you have to start earlier on your personal life and look for the good catches. Then you get stuck with people who unrealistically picky (nowhere as great people as the above but still want a super model home maker highly educated woman but really should look at themselves in the mirror) or don't really want to settle, are a jerk blah blah.
