winny Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 I am dumbfounded and laughing hysterically at the same time. This guy who made me feel so anxious and eventually ghosted me 4.5 yrs back... has sent me a friends request on Facebook and started following me on Instagram: https://www.loveshack.org/forums/romantic/dating/438964-do-i-need-worry https://www.loveshack.org/forums/romantic/dating/442760-very-worried Obviously I just ignored, but yeah, this always happens.... these kind of guys have no shame. 1
I'veseenbetterlol Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 These guys don't have any shame. I believe when they are lonely they try and weasel their way back, I just slam the door in their face. I dated a guy for a short period, started developing feelings and we tried a long distance. After experiencing a lot of coldness, he broke everything off w/me despite him wanting a relationship in the 1st place. I was really hurt. 3 months later he begged to come visit me, I was like nope. No shame. 2
mortensorchid Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 I'm sorry you were disappointed, but if it makes you feel better (which it won't) this is just how it is. People are still good within themselves. You can make a decision to be good rather than to be evil or to do the easiest thing possible. We can all do better, we have to in this life. But also remember that life is too short to waste time with time wasters like this was for you.

People can change over time. Depends on his age and what led to the issue. But if you don't even want to talk to him, you're better off just blocking him. He will get the hint.
hercules22 Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 i would be really surprised if the girl who ghosted me got back to me really dont see it happening though
No_Go Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Ha it happened to me few days ago, I even made a thread. I guess ‘ghosts’ return out of curiosity. If there was sex - that’s another good motivation. Now thinking about exes... I never had one that didn’t come back for 3-6 months (at least) of post-break up bed fun. But ones that were just ‘dates’... it’s beyond rational behavior I am dumbfounded and laughing hysterically at the same time. stillafool Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 If someone ghosted me I would never know if they came back because they would never be able to contact me again. All doors would be closed.
smackie9 Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Those apps always send you suggested friends to add..."People you may know". He probably saw your name and thought to give it a shot. 1

No_Go Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 There was no sex involved in this case. There is always *potential* of sex even when it doesn't happen. The potential is strong enough drive for coming back. 1
