Zippy2000 Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Like I said, they can do whatever they want. But I'm not offended by guns in a pic. Just like I'm not offended by a car in the pic despite that they kill far more people. You may not be offended but websites and forums have a right to protect the young and the vulnerable members of the public. In the UK we don't have adverts of guns like we used to do in magazines from decades ago. it advocates violence and makes guns look glamourous in pics. You have to red up about the Hungerford massacre here in the UK and the Dunblane massacre. School children being killed. That's why its better not to have guns hidden out of harms way: Dublane massacre. Never forget: Dunblane Massacre: List of Thomas Hamilton's victims 20 years on | Metro News
Author SevenCity Posted March 16, 2018 Author Posted March 16, 2018 It's like primitive man being afraid of fire. They don't really understand it. Nobody should give bumble their business if this is what they choose to do. Even if you don't like guns. It's wrong on many levels. I suppose you’re right. What people don’t understand is if someone is intent on doing harm, they will do it regardless of the availability of a weapon. People killed people long before guns were ever invented. I remember one girl I dated assumed you killed things at the shooting range. She was against guns but we had a blast when we went there and she was sending the vid to her friends. So I suppose most people who fear guns would rather pretend they don’t exist.
Simple Logic Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 If you think posting photos of yourself with firearms is attractive, maybe you could start a dating site for gang bangers.
Timshel Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 If you think posting photos of yourself with firearms is attractive, maybe you could start a dating site for gang bangers. No poster has suggested this. You have exploited the point....you can do better than this Simple Logic.
introverted1 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 If safety were truly the concern, then Bumble would background check its members. Removing pictures of members with guns is simple pandering. Sure, it's their right to do so, but pretending it's a safety issue is disingenuous.
