Philosopher Posted March 11, 2018 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Generally for me, I would say there are three things that I determine whether there is enough connection: 1) They are easy to talk to, there are no lengthy awkward pauses and after a couple of hours you can still easily have a conversation with them 2) There is a least some physical attraction. They do not have to be stunning but they have to be at least attractive enough that you could imagine wanting to rip their clothes off one day. 3) They seem reasonably receptive to wanting to continue dating, such as they engage in quite a bit of flirting, do not end the date after an hour, respond favourable to texts, etc In summary, while I am not expecting amazing things on first date, I do expect at least some chemistry and connection to continue dating. If their is none or very little, from my experience it is unlikely to build in the future. Link to post Share on other sites
