Author Neverbeenhere40 Posted November 24, 2017 Author Share Posted November 24, 2017 I'm back...and a bit confused by some actions and words over the past month. I've noticed he uses the word "friend" when referring to me often. Whether to me are to coworkers/management at work. When asking about the new assignment changes at the office, and he was inquiring about my new responsibilities he often mentioned to the boss how we are "friends." He will then often tell me, upon me thanking him for something, that's what friends are for...in emails he finish sentences with friend or my friend. He has also pointrd out more than once how hard it is to make new friends. Yes, I believe we are friends, but puzzling why mentioning that specifically happns so much as of late. Is he trying to ensure I understand where we stand or is he trying to convince himself? Another bizarre turn of events...he is opening up more to me about his past. Again, all above aboard in my opinion. Then after telling me something especially vulnerable I don't hear from him for days. Guess it's bothering me more than it should.
