One night stands actually turn into LTR's, yes?

I was reading an article by Dan Savage and he was saying around 30% of one-night stands wind up in long term relationships or even marriage. But, they usually LIE about how they met. lol.

 

The reason behind this is the bond that was between them during the act was so great, the bonding chemicals reinforced this connection in them and thus resulting in something long term.

 

Raise of hands, anyone here admit that their marriage started off as a one night stand?

I didn't have a plan one way or the other, but I was pretty sure my DH was going to be a ONS. The last 16 years have been a delightful surprise.

 

I don't lie about how we met. I simply say "We met at a Goth club in 1999." No need to give the details.
