Its out of character for me to do this but for some reason I felt I knew who this was. Their account is private with barely any photos & no photos of themselves. I felt like they already knew who I was but created this account to talk to me. They didn't ask for any information which could indicate fraud. However, the past month I have become suspicious this is a guy I worked with last year who's quite shy towards women. I really liked him & we flirted but we both seemed to shy to take it further. The language used seems similar to him & he admitted he gets jealous if I tell him (the account) anybody liked me. So I did some spying myself & this account logs in around the same time the guy I like posts on his own page. Also the times he talks are matching the times we used to finish our shift work late at night & our early morning shifts. I've told the account I know he knows me but he keeps denying this & saying his very shy. However when I asked him in his suspected native tongue he replied in his language he does know me. Weird. So he speaks the same language as the guy I worked with. The account regularly says how much he misses me & also said he rides a motorbike just like the guy I worked with - too many coincidences. But I've became fed up with this & said until he tells me the truth I'm blocking him. He can add me on his real account. I blocked him & he added me on his 'real' account with a photo but it seemed fake aswel! I don't know if I'm being crazy but I want other people's advice & opinions. I have no contact with this guy I worked with anymore
CarrieT Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Anything is possible but unless you find out who this person is In Real Life, does it matter? Best to not engage in those online because they are - as you are learning - mostly fake. He may have created the account to stalk you but knew you would only engage in a certain type. Blocking him was the best thing. Time to move on and find real guys. 1
elaine567 Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 I know it sounds a bit cute but this is no way to conduct a romance and it may indeed be someone out to stalk you or just to make a fool of you knowing you were interested in that guy before. I would not play this game any more, if I were you. 1
