Alright. Apparently I need a lesson in timing and confidence or something as of late. I seem to keep dating girls that don't show any signs at all of wanting to be kissed and then I think they end up writing me off because we didn't kiss. This has never been a problem for me before as I guess everyone else I've dated and least offered up some affection or nice moments for a kiss. Lately it just seems like I can't find a good moment that's right. I'm a pretty "do my own thing" kind of guy and really hate the thought of going for the typical goodnight kiss so I think I avoid that just on principal. Anybody have any suggestions on how to work a kiss in prior to the end of the date? I know all the usual things about touching and looking for signs and stuff but i just mean more of a good time to go for it regardless. Like should I be doing it as soon as I open the car door for them to get in after dinner or just randomly pull them aside while walking? Help!

a gentleman that I had been on a few outings, one evening just up and asked!

He had walked me to the door, looked me squarely in the eyes, lifted my chin and said, may I kiss you good night? How charming that moment was!

He later said that had I said no, he was willing to caress his hands down my arms and leave me wondering in a good way. We laugh about that evening...

We stopped dating but I still tell him how suave that move was!

That is a very interesting viewpoint. Especially for a guy like me who has been told and told and read and read that you should never ask before kissing. But here you are saying it was sauve.
