jen1447 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Popsi, I think you're gonna stress yourself out trying to follow rules or a program ....just do what feels right to you and enjoy the experience. 1
CarrieT Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Pops, you'll be fine... Enjoy the process! Remember - the journey is often more interesting than the destination! 2
bluefeather Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I like that sort of clinginess in a man! I like so much that you like that.. lol.. gives me hope that there are ladies out there for me. Holy moly I didn't expect you to search 500 miles. That's interesting... ok, I hope you have success with your search because I'm *slowly* starting to think about this OLD thing. Popsi, I think you're gonna stress yourself out trying to follow rules or a program ....just do what feels right to you and enjoy the experience. ^seconded. 1
Author Popsicle Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 Ok, now I'm just amusing myself. Some guy's VERY FIRST message to me: I'm going to Disneyland June 3-5th for my bowling tournament I would love you to go it's already paid for. My response: What if I'm a serial killer? 2

Some guy's VERY FIRST message to me: I'm going to Disneyland June 3-5th for my bowling tournament I would love you to go it's already paid for. My response: What if I'm a serial killer? His response: Great! You can take out the competition. 1

Shanex Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I'm sure you have a Multi-pass to enter Disneyland, pop. If a guy tries to kiss you while you fall asleep on a date, 'never without my permission' How long have you been single if you don't mind me asking? 1

Shanex Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 5 years. Your thread was smartly titled then, about time. Enjoy the OLD ride and meet someone special, keep us updated. 1
Author Popsicle Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 Another guy's first message to me: "<insert my city name> here I cum" Wow, lol I am cracking up.
smudge21 Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 At least you're having fun with it. You may have to wade through a lot of frogs until you find your prince, so just enjoy the journey. 1
road Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Another guy's first message to me: "<insert my city name> here I cum" Wow, lol I am cracking up. My response would be stay away from him. As to hair. All a woman has to do it wash and blow it dry.
Author Popsicle Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 At least you're having fun with it. You may have to wade through a lot of frogs until you find your prince, so just enjoy the journey. Thanks. So me and the first guy are meeting this weekend. I'm so excited! 2
Author Popsicle Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 This other guy is pushing for a date this weekend too, but I'll get overwhelmed if I go out with two guys in one weekend. (I know myself). The problem is, I kind of brought this on myself because he asked when I was available (before I set the date up with the other guy) and I said this weekend and now he's asking to meet this weekend too. I feel like I lead him into that. What do you think I should I do?

If this second man is interesting and you delay meeting him he will conclude you are lucky warm about meeting him. 3. There is nothing wrong with having 2 dates over the weekend. I remember days I had 2 dates a day! 4. Set a quick meeting with guy #2. Something like morning coffee on Saturday.
Author Popsicle Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 1. Put your profile on hide so no one else interesting messages you for now. Oooooh good idea! I will do that. 2. Toodaloo Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Pops Just space it out. Have one date in the week and one at the weekend. Like I say the vast majority will not go further than 1 date. I have also done the 2 dates in a day and do not recommend it. Just space it out. You do not have to respond straight away. You can take your time. Relax! 2
smudge21 Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 It's like public transport - you wait for 5 years and then two come along at once. Date both as you have no commitment to either just yet. For all you know, they're multi-dating anyway. Remember this is the early stages, the warm up act, so just try to relax and feel each of them out... not in that way!!! 1

Pops honey you haven't even MET them yet! So why on earth do they deserve your loyalty already? They don't! Once it gets to date 3 then drop the others but until then meet as many people as you like! Think of it this way. If someone says hello to you are you then thinking wedding bells and carriages? No - you are just thinking Hey back! Thats all the first couple of "dates" are. They are just hellos. After that then yes. Before that no. Also by spacing them out you are giving yourself time to think and digest. 2
Author Popsicle Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 What kind of date 1st guy proposed? I don't know yet but he mentioned meeting at the Casino.
smudge21 Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I don't know yet but he mentioned meeting at the Casino. ? Not your usual first date location... odd. 1
Toodaloo Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 ? Not your usual first date location... odd. But could be fun! 1
