If some co-workers talk among themselves and don't include someone, whose fault is it

The secret for success in business is to have employee's content. Period. Employee's are not drones, anything that fosters community in any company....large or small = Plus productivity. I land firmly on the side of teamwork and sensibility.

 

I think I agree with Taramere, too long to read but I agree.

There is no obligation to socialize at work. The only obligation is to be polite and professional with all coworkers. That doesn't mean you have to get personal with them or talk to them for no reason. In fact, there are workplaces who would much rather all the comraderie was kept to a minimum, my office included. My boss thinks a lot of problems are caused by people getting buddy-buddy and ganging up on other people and private-texting, and he will fire someone for that if he catches them at it.
