The Holy War that is increasingly more likely

These are not good days on earth, and to some extent it's our own fault. We lived so large in the west and left so little for the rest of the world, and now they're rising up against us. We're supposed to be a Christian country who does good in the world, but we've been the bad guys after world war 2. We've diverted from the spirit of Goodness into disbelief and narcissism, and we still assume we're the good guys by definition. We're not. Just look at Africa and Middle East. We should stop nagging about being Christians, and start acting like it.

 

A war is increasingly more likely, the rest of the world has had enough and now we see them converge under one ideology: Violant Islam, which is only our own creation. This will be a holy war, us Christians against Muslims, and it pains me to see that us, who are supposed to represent God, are on the wrong side of history. This war could end Christianity and establish a false faith as God's retribution. If we lose, it will be the end of God's reign on earth and the beginning of a new era, an era of Godlessness and life based on instinctive desire with no self restraint. Children born in the next generation may not even hear of Jesus. If we win, it will be written as another act of Imperialism and western superiority in the pages of history, where we consumed most of the world's resources and once others had enough, we destroyed them in a holy war, which can give even more legitimacy to Islam in the following centuries and brand Muslims as freedom fighters against the oppressors of the time (Christians).

 

This is a lose-lose situation for us. There's no winning, either for us or for the people of God, unless we avoid this war. The more we bomb those areas, the more they will be united against the common enemy (that's us), and when they do, there will be bloodshed on either side. All other non-Muslim nations who are oppressed will join them, and it won't be pretty. So for the sake of God, Jesus, our children, even Israel, we should pray that the holy war won't happen. But we're leading towards it, I think it's inevitable.
