Why didn't you tell your boyfriend you were going to see how the guy was doing? Sorry, on New Years Eve, a special night for most people in relationships , you decide to send an old guy friend this message. And you r boyfriend is probably be wondering if this guy showed up you would be meeting him without him knowing.
