Firestarter1069 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Just out of curiosity does the dumper, if having 2nd thoughts, ever decide to use the NC rule?
blackcat777 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I haven't heard a peep from my ex since he dumped me... more than three months ago now. He pretty much lied about everything throughout the entire course of the relationship and he decided his gig was finally up, so I doubt I'll hear from him ever again. An apology would be nice, but I've accepted that I'll never get one. People that use people in cold blood and then throw them away don't strike me as the type to come back and apologize afterward. As a dumper, sometimes it's necessary to heal. I had a mooching ex in the past that I finally had to cut out for my own survival, and haven't looked back once, because he took advantage of me... and I gave him 23409823049283409283409283 chances to improve his behavior, he never did. The reasons can be many. Either way, part of your own NC should be not reading into it, unless that silence brings you closure. Sometimes silence is a gift.
