So I'm seeing a guy that's older than me.

7 years to be exact, I am a guy as well and turning 18 soon. I just have one slight problem. I found out on my own that he is still in contact with the ex. Sure they were together for four years and were in an LDR. We started seeing each other two weeks after we broke up and I was the one who made the first move, took me on a date, we would tweet sweet nothings to each other the first week of talking "still two weeks after their break up which his ex initiated" and we are totally in love. Took me with to a concert on the second week of dating and it was amazing. I'm a little worried though, he seems real and in love with me but why is he stills weeping his ex fiancé on his phone? I hated checking and finding out and I don't want to say anything but he told his ex that he couldn't block him or let him go, that they might need to talk or catch up one day and that he was a big part of his life. Ex seems to want nothing to do with him..

His ex seems to be a pretty put together guy even though they argued a lot, he told me I'm a lot more fun since I like to party..

 

Am I a rebound? I have an advantage though, they had an LDR but I'm within distance so we talk everyday and see each other so much. it's been three months and the first weeks he already said he had feelings for me. what do you guys think? Should I confront him or let it be and be mature about it?

I also want to add that I looked at his exs social stuff and he's still single and travelling around the world LOL he's not much to look at either so I feel I don't have much to worry about, not letting this one out of my sight )) he's over his ex though, he put #taken on his instagram profile and uploaded a ton of pictures of pictures of us. so I know it's real idk why I'm worried lol, it's my first serious relationship so I thought id ask
