john1682 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Hey guys, I've been dating this new girl for about a month. Throughout this month, I've noticed so many different characteristics that I've never come across. At the beginning she was so afraid of intimate contact, slowly but surely she's opened up more & more. But, I feel like everything is limited because of the "thirst" label. I get the feeling like she doesn't want to come off to clingy, but it limits her in so many areas... So i'm wondering if I should bring this up to her or just go with the flow and see how long this will last?
Gaeta Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Please explain with concrete example. What is this thirst label?
Potz4prez Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 She doesn't want to come off as thirsty, needy, whatever. I doubt that though. Her interest level may be low, or maybe she has baggage. How long has she been single?
Author john1682 Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 Please explain with concrete example. What is this thirst label? Thirst label basically means you're clingy, needy, showing to much attention to one party.

She's just different... & I'm trying to figure her out. I think her last relationship was about a year ago.
ktya Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Youve only been seeing her a month. She just likes to take it slow.
GemmaUK Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Maybe she isn't clingy? In your other thread you're concerned when she asks 'if you want to?' I only ever ask that if it's something I like and I get engrossed in and if he won't enjoy it as much he will focus on me...which can drive me nuts. I have uninvited a few guys from things when it's clear they are only agreeing to go to an event or something because I am going.
