Patient Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 (edited) Hey.So I would really love somebody's help.I went to high school with this guy and I had a huge crush on him but was very shy then but anyway he friend requested me on facebook he likes all of my pics and statuses or whatever so one day I message him.we messaged eachother on and off and so one day I was like well I liked his personality and wanted to get to know him better...he assumed I was trying to get with him and shot me down.I had just got out of a four year relationship and definitely wasnt trying to go down that road so I explained that and we concluded that we were gonna be friends.we talked more after that.So by happenstance I run into him at a Wawa across the street from my job and finds out that be works directly across the street from me.One night his job and my job was having a Christmas party and I seen the name of his company and messaged him on Facebook. We met in the parking lot nad he invited me to go out with him to a popular spot here.he bought me drinks there he stays with me the whole night and was a gentleman. Well I left and as we were leaving we kissed.my phone was dead and so I called him from my sisters phone after I left we talked then it was over.My sister calls me and tells me she got a text from him for me on christmas wishing me a merry christmas..it was personalized...but this was days after.That was the number he had for me so he texted that. Well after that I called him on new years day we talked it was cool.I got back with my boyfriend a little after and I seen on facebook that he was with a girl he had been back and forth with...so we stopped.I honestly think of him all the time and wonder if he likes me or not.I dunno it drives me crazy because I dunno why I think of him so much.Please help! d0nnivain Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 While you were both single, after a night of drinking, you shared one kiss over the holidays. He wished you a Merry Chirstmas but there has been no other meaningful contact although you are FB friends. You are more into him then he is into you. If you can't focus on your current BF, let that guy go because he deserves somebody who isn't pining over somebody they can't have. Otherwise, chalk it up to the mistletoe & let it go. 1
Author Patient Posted June 12, 2014 Author Posted June 12, 2014 Me and my bf are no longer together anymore we broke up last night but its just weird that I keep running into him.I havent talked to him out of respect for my then boyfriend and I think the fact I didnt respond a few times after I seen him when he did contact me turned him off....but I cant help but wonder.we don't know eachother too well either so I think that plays a big role too.I dunno I just think its weird.I never thought of him until here lately and thats when I keep running into him.

As for thinking about him often, well, it appears you may still crush on him. I have a neighbor who I have a crush on but she is married so there is no going there for me even though when I see her I can't help but hold my hand over my heart and sigh, I think about her and even had a dream about her one night. So it happens that people have crushes that doesn't mean its to be.
