I have been 'getting to know' / dating a guy for around 5 weeks now. Before we decided to date we had a big discussion about why and how we wanted to get to know each other better, as we had previously seen each other very casually and had alot of miscommunication about each others needs and wants. After discussing this we both acknowledged that we would like a relationship if things went well between us. Basically, if we like each other enought and think we would work as a couple then we will try and have a relationship.

Things have been going really well. I know were both pretty happy right now and i deffinately feel compatible and somewhat ready for a relationship with him. However, I don't want to rush becasue timing is probably important. Anything too soon could spoil things. So, I am curious about when do you think it suitable to have the relationship discussion? Given the circumstances here. I don't want to intiate it, because ultimately that is up to him - But, I am curious how long should I wait until he should be ready for that.

I'm looking for all sorts of opinons, please share anything you have.

Many thanks guys :) and also, Happy New Year
