Jellytots0901 Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 I was on call with my boyfriend last night and the call dropped half an hour ago. I've tried messaging him and calling him back but there is no answer. It sounds stupid to ask this but what do I do? I know it's not his fault, I'm just a little impatient.
HeavenOrHell Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 How long were you talking for? Skype loses connection sometimes. Maybe he's asleep? There are a few factors that can affect Skype not working. First, there is problematic Internet connection. It's not perfect, so there will be connection issues. Another problem could be with Skype itself. Skype could experience bottlenecks and connection issues as well. If your Internet is working, and you can Skype with a friend, then the problem could lie with your boyfriend's connection, or anywhere in between. Email him to verify that he can check email at home. If so, his Internet is good, but then the issue maybe with Skype.
Keenly Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Skype can be ridiculous sometimes. I have a 7 Mb/s connection, and sometimes Skype will bottleneck so hard that I get the resolution of a super Nintendo with 5 frames per second, and then it will disconnect entirelry. Nothing you can do other than call him on the phone.
TMichaels Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Nothing you can do other than call him on the phone. Or vice-versa. Doesn't the guy also have a pair of five-digits? Best, TMichaels
Twilightsteve Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 I know this much about damn technology, not to rely on one way of communicating as there's many other ways of getting in touch. So relax and go from to .
