Randa4 Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Im a high school senior and there's this girl I really like, at first things didn't work out too well, and she had a bf and all, but two months ago she broke up with him. Last week I asked if she would want to hang out sometime this week and she said yes. So where is a good place to ask her to? I was thinking starbucks or something, you know, somewhere we can chill and talk. How does that sound? And what is good way to ask? Also, this isn't considered a date right? What makes it a date? It will be just the two of us. Thanks all in advance! PS I guess I can ask her where she wants to go, but I want to make a suggestion first.
ambermoeba Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Do you want it to be a date? Although whether it is or isn't, it would probably be best to do something casual the first time you hang out. Going to a coffee shop is a good idea, although I would suggest somewhere more creative than Starbucks if you want a nice atmosphere. Not that Starbucks isn't great, but it would be more "romantic" and show off your individuality if you look around a few other places and take her to the one that you like the best. If it's a sunny day, another thing I quite like is getting food from a van or market stall (ice-cream, pizza, etc) and eating it outside, for example in the park. 1
starrynightz45 Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Coffee, froyo, ice cream, dinner, any dessert spot, mini-golf. These are all good and casual ideas for a "hang out." If you want to make it clear that it's a date, you should either pay for her when you go out, or at least make some slight physical contact + flirty behavior (hug, arm around shoulders, kiss on cheek at end of the night, lots of compliments, etc). 1
