I have had a long history.. Check my past posts and you will know.. I have been broken up with someone for nearly 3 years now.. Not dated anyone since,,

 

I just got transferred to another city (This is the city my ex lives in,, have been NC for more than an year)..

 

We were partying a couple of weeks ago and approached a couple of girls.. Next thing BOOM one of those sends me a friend request.. We chat for nearly an hour everyday for the past week and in the end we end up partying together..

 

The thing is one of those I get a fancy for.. She is from a totally different culture.. On top of that,, she is totally into me,, I mean like crazy,, she gave me a peck on the cheek before leaving..

 

I dunno what I am in for,, As in I have cheated someone and been cheated on.. I am just getting emotionally stable. I thought I will have a couple of flings.. But this girl is really sweet.. I don't want to just keep a pretext of a relationship while I leave screw with her,,

 

What do I do,, Over the past week I thought she was being an equal flirt.. And added to that the way she danced with me.. Believe me it was crazy..

 

But talking to her,, I don't think I can promise someone the stars when I am not sure..

 

I have thought I will tell her my history and ask her to back away as I am not looking for anything serious..

 

Would this be prudent??

 

P.S: Check my first thread if you wanna know how screwed up I was sometime back...

Why not just hang out with this girl and find out what type of person she is?

If you want to tell her your history go ahead

We have all been screwed up at some point in our lives otherwise we wouldn't have lived and learned from our mistakes to make it this far.

 

Stop living in the past and dwelling on past mistakes, use this opportunity as a fresh start to make something good. She might not be the one as it is still so ridiculously early days but you need to grow up sooner or later otherwise you end up old and alone with just your regrets.
