Recently I began crushing on a girl I knew from high school. We graduated 2 years ago and haven't spoken since. Her number was in my phone so I texted her saying I wanted to get lunch and catch up. She was finishing up the spring semester and said she would like to catch up too but would get back to me on when she was available. That was 2 weeks ago. Clearly she's forgotten -- just believe me when I say it's not blowing me off on purpose. I'm thinking of just going to her house (I go for jogs in the area) and asking her on a date. My concerns:

1. I was at her house once freshman year high school. This was six years ago, is it weird that I remember where the house is?

2. Am I being too forward in asking her on a date, being that we haven't spoken in 2 years?

3. Am I going to freak her out? There is no way she is going to see this coming... I don't want to make her uncomfortable.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

How about you call her up (not text) and say "So... about that lunch?"

I think showing up un-announced at anyone's house can make her feel uncomfortable because it might catch her off guard. It might feel like an ambush, you know what I mean? Because honestly, that's how I would feel if someone just showed up at my doorstep.

Dont go by her house.

If you'd like to contact her again, I'd say call her on the phone.

And make it your last time.

Call her and say, "Hey, I'm going to such-&-Such place, I wanted to see if you'd like to come with me?"

If she says yes, say cool. This is my number. Then tell her

If she says No. or if she asks to reschedule.

Say "Hey, I understand, ok, call me when ever you'd like to go out and have some fun" - Then never call her back again.
