Cheerbabe93 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Alright, so I met this guy online like two months ago and we hit it off pretty well, he texted me daily and we face timed every weekend. sometimes he would even FaceTime me when he went to his friends house for a party. Last Sunday he started Rangerschool (he is in the army) and he told me that he won't have his phone but that he will miss talking to me and that after the first two weeks he will be able to call me. On Wednesday I went on Facebook and he posted a status saying that he failed an exercise and is back home now. I thought he would text me or FaceTime me but he didn't. Yesterday I texted him "hey stranger (:" but he didn't respond to me. What happened here? He said he liked me and talked about going on a date and now he doesn't even text me back. He is 24 by the way and I am 21.
Daisy-oliviaWentcher Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I think you should still date other people. I know what it's like to get your heart caught up on one particular guy but if he stops contcting you.... seems odd to me. Continue to date, make friends and make connections. Hope this helps.
Dallers Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 We men are very insecure when it comes to failing. If he wanted to be a Ranger and failed he will be feeling very inadequate right about now. It is like when we are injured and cannot do man things we get very very annoyed. Sounds silly but that is how men work we do not like failure. He is most likely feeling really low at the moment and does not wish to face a girl knowing that he has failed. The worst thing you could do is mention it either so just wait and be patient he has got your message and he will contact you. As above said do continue to live your life and look elsewhere in case he actually is not interested.

Just make sure you do not mention it and let him bring it up if he wants to. Act as if he was still in training and maybe come home for a bit. Play it cool. Wait for him to contact you do not chase. 1

Wait for him to contact you do not chase. hmm well it has been over 24 hours since i texted him and still nothing but he has been online on Facebook. kinda pissing me off but yea I'm just gonna give him space and see if he will come around.
