This isn't a smart ass reply. Your self confidence. Don't let a setback like a breakup keep you down. Get back out there and move on. Don't let things you can't control, control you. He just lost his entire work. He couldn't control that. So instead of giving up or seeing it as a setback, or mope around about it, he jumped back in and rebuilt. The story provides more insight in to his mindset. 2
