I met up with this girl I met via OLD tonight. She sort of flaked on me the week before but I gave her the benefit of the doubt since she said she was hung up working as an ER nurse. Now, this was a truly monumentally lack of engagement on her part. I chose to meet her at a bar with lots of games to lighten the mood but it didn't help. She seemed very tired and aloof throughout the date. She replied with short answers to my questions and seemed to put little effort forth in inquiring about me. I couldn't help but become irritated by the fact she didn't bring any sort of game to the table, especially after being a questionable flake. I ultimately cut the date short due to her lack of engagement. During the first date departure, she said it was nice to meet me and I should contact her again to hang out. However, I just had to spill my frustration. I point blank asked her if she was tired(really meant you have no personality?). I then(regrettably) asked her if it was something I said(in a sarcastic tone). The ****ed up part is she was super cute but I couldn't help but be offended by her apparent disconnect. I'm guessing she just probably wasn't that into me and is a rude person. what do you all think?

I say you shouldn't have gone out with her in the first place....why waste your time, as you so obviously did?

Perhaps a waste of time, but so is any life experience that doesn't pan out for that matter!

I'm pleased to put a slug in her place.

How did she respond to your comments?

Maybe she is just a low energy type of person. You said you were sick too so maybe that changed the way she reacted to you. If you give off lower energy you typically get it back.

I have gone one dates with girls where the first few have been good and then the 3rd the girl seems dead to the world...Some people have bad days but if it was a "bad day" she should have said something like "Sorry I am so out of it today" or whatever. Good thing you are moving on.

What sort of games are you talking about? Here in NZ, you can play pool or darts in the pub. It wouldn't be my idea of a great first date playing pool or darts....I'd be bored out of my brains too!!!

Do you have some kinda ego thing that you need to be stoked?

If she's like that you dont need to be rude to her man, you should still be a gentleman, and just handle it.

Just take the experience as an experience that you'd have, and enjoy your own night.

I've been out on a date at a bar with a girl that wasnt into me, and I was having such a great time by myself, that I went home with another girl that was at the bar. lol we never got married, but the experience was good.

Dont be a bitter man.
