How hard would it be to have a r'ship where they lived 200 miles and a four hour drive away.

That's nothing. A lot of us have had to do longer trips and by plane.

But if work full time and study part time and have to study at weekends. Weekends would even be difficult.

If you're busy all the time, any relationship will be difficult!

 

Seems to me you've already talked yourself out of this one.

It depends on the people in the relationship. Starting a new relationship, it will be much harder. If two people are committed to do what it takes, then it will work. Recently, when I moved away, my long distance relationship was torn apart. Let me remind you this was after 3.5 years of dating. He wasn't committed to making it work and let the little things slip away. So sit down and talk with what you need out of your relationship while being apart. It could work but it will take dedication from you both.
