OhNoNotAgain Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Me and my ex broke up about a month ago. I still miss her a lot, but I'm trying to move on with my life. I even went on my first date with someone else last night. I have gotten rid of all her stuff, and deleted her pics off my phone. The only thing I have left is this little trinket she gave me on our first date. It was an inside joke we had before going out, and it ending up meaning a lot to both of us. Kind of like an item that represented us getting together. I want this thing out of my house, but I can't bring myself to throwing it out. So I was thinking about sending it to her in the mail, then she can throw it out if she wants. What do you guys think?
iDrumKing Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I feel like your wanting to send this to reopen lines on communication. C'mon dude, if you can't do it, simply give it to a buddy of yours to use for target practice.

Step 3. Move on with said life.
elseaacych Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Shove it into the back of a drawer somewhere and forget about it.
Trovador Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 It's just a trick of your mind... the thing doesn't have any emotional value because, remember? there are no relationship anymore... And your ex couldn't care less if you throw it to the trash, keep it or bury it... with all probability she doesn't even remember the trinket by now... Don't give it to anybody because you might see you some day... destroy it!
