truth_seeker Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I saw this girl the other day whom I've seen on and off for a year. We cross paths in the same office park area. Saw her recently, I just finished my workout, she was dressed up, I didn't have the nerve to say hi as I felt gross with my appearance. Found out she's leaving her job but won't so for another month. I'd like to run into her and introduce myself. That's what I want to happen. What if I don't? Should I just let it go or ask some people for her name and reach out to her if I don't get a chance to run into her before she leaves?

Are they people you know (or more importantly, who know you)? It is beyond creepy for some stranger to solicit name/other info about a girl. So unless you know the people you are thinking about asking, don't. If you DO know some people who know this girl, CASUALLY tell them that this girl has caught your eye and ASK them if they would make an introduction. Nothing wrong with that. As always: Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

As always: Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I have a friend, who knows a friend, who told me she's leaving. It's one of those things. I would prefer a repeat of seeing her again, but this time I'm cleaned up and not a sweaty mess. I'm just saying what if I lost my opportunity. Let go or make an effort through channels.
