lastking Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I just wanted to share with those of us that are feeling down after a break up. If you can afford a gym, go and work out. Besides from making you look good, it will change your feelings and give you back that self esteem that you need. I just started working out again and I can already feel the change in my thoughts. I rarely think about the break up and when I do, I don't get depressed. 1
bluegreen Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Anything and everything that can help you to self improve its always ON baby.
David87 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Yep going to the gym definitely works, i'm jogging almost every day and the efect is the same. I just want to be fit not muscular
WYSWYG Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 yeah, me and 2 friends tried a "zumba" class. There were about 40 girls and were the only 3 guys in that class. Great cardio if you can shake what yer mama gave ya and we are now regulars. 1
love_pink Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Couldn't agree more! I've been working out almost everyday the past 3 months and the difference is ridiculously unbelievable! Gotta love them workout DVDs.. Not to mention them endorphins too ;-)

Great cardio if you can shake what yer mama gave ya and we are now regulars. Heh, reminds me of those few guys among all those girls in my old riding stable. They actually looked fitter than most football players I know and didn't need to beg for attention, it was all around them.

Jay77098 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Agreed, lastking! I have gotten back to the gym faithfully since my BU. It gives me a great outlet for my pain/frustration/anger, and the results are beginning to show. I have been especially diligent about doing stomach work, and my midsection is starting to get tight. Not quite a six-pack yet, but I am getting some good lines. I can't wait for swimsuit season, and pool parties with cute single women...
learning_slowly Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Who's on the bodyspace app? BeAllYouCan is my nickname there. Join in to motivate each other.
Trovador Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I ran a marathon last year (4h 36m, not a good time I know), something I didn't even dream of doing during my rs and break up... Not to poison your minds, fellas, but don't you think that had we all been fit, would have been a break up? He he...
learning_slowly Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 No, there's limits to your fitness keeping a girl. It's like if you had a drop dead gorgeous girl and she messed you about or was lazy or had no chat. There's more than just looks. I know I've been there and her looks couldn't keep me. In this case, I wasn't committed enough and so I have to take the blame. I didn't see what I wanted till it was too late. So I have to wish her the best. Doesn't mean I don't feel the pain though. I was reasonably fit, I'm just becoming more muscular. Women in bars let their gaze linger now. Awkward when they are with another guy!
Trovador Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Well, I have known some fatty dumpees and I can't help but wonder... Not to open a debate, but I never would date a woman who neglects her physical condition...
