JSmiles Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Friend/co-worker told me a joke "What Did The Potato Chip Say To The Battery? "If You're Eveready, I'm Frito-lay." " She told me this shortly after we met, (not the first day, but first time we interacted a lot). It wasn't the only sexual-ish thing she said that day or since.
BetrayedH Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) There's one way to find out. Hint: it's not asking us. For what it's worth, I don't get the impression she'd be offended by you making a move. Of course, if either of you are already taken, don't go there no matter what signals she may be sending. Yeah I'm not the type to cheat, my relationship or someone else's so not a problem. Why do you get the impression that she wouldn't be offended though?
eye of the storm Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 She may just have a sense of humor that can be a bit on the blue side. BTW, thanks for the joke, I just told my co worker and he thinks its funny too. I tell those kinds of jokes and many people I work with make comments but nobody takes them seriously. Because you two work together, I would be very careful about "making a move" it can blow up in your face super quick. If you really are interested, start with coffee, and try to feel the situation out from there. If she maintains the friendly joking vibe, that just may be her way of interacting with co workers. If she flirts over coffee, then you need to make a decision on if you want to dance in the minefield. (which is what I think dating co workers is)
d0nnivain Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 It could . . . it is a bit risque so maybe. We can't tell from here. Ask her out if you otherwise like her.
Author JSmiles Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 Yeah, I really like that joke. I didn't think anything of it until I told it to someone else and they thought it could be. She and I are a bit flirty, that day and since, so I don't know if that one in particular had meaning.
