sup. im 17 and i have a really bad man boob problem.

i used to be almost 300 pounds but i lost a lot of weight. now im at a point where im basically chubby but my man boobs are huge. like C cups i swear. they dont look like woman boobs cuz im kinda buff but they still look just really fat and bad and saggy and horrible.

i wear a compression shirt and roll it up so that its only on my chest. makes me look somewhat normal if im in a heavy shirt.

one girl i ever dated and we were together for 6 months before she found out about my boobs. at first she said she didnt care. literally a week later she lost all interest in sex and started checking out other guys in front of me. began cheating soon afterwards.

i only get attention from girls when i am wearing the compression shirt. only get girls to have sex with me when im in a compression shirt.

if at anytime i leave home without it i get zero female attention and some girls even make fun of me.

this really makes me hate myself. im not a shallow guy. i just want to have a real connection with someone, anyone. someone who loves me for me. ive never even had a friend because kids always picked on me for my weight.

but not even the overweight girls will give me the time of day if they knew i had boobs. it hurts.

i know i can get surgery. and i plan on doing that once i finish my last seasons of football and soccer.

but i feel like any girl who likes me after i get the surgery doesnt like the real me. cuz if i still had teets they wouldnt even associate with me. idk what i should do. i just want to find a girl who likes me for me.

Brotha first of all I'm sorry to hear about this problem. You sound like you've got a good attitude.

I imagine you've done a lot of research into physiological changes. What does your diet look like? Etc. Furthermore do you have an idea what your estrogen and testosterone levels are like?? There are many food products that impact your hormonal balance. For example soy products are often linked to estrogen production. I imagine you have looked into this stuff but if you haven't, there's a thought.

Lastly, if you have some kind of medical condition that is causing this problem, and you can afford it.... DON'T be ashamed about getting the surgery.

Don't be ashamed that "its not natural". Chicks spend an hour in front of the mirror every day putting on makeup. Is that natural? What about the guys who go to the gym 4 times a week so they can have beach muscles? That's not "natural"

At the end of the day, its a concentrated outlay of available resources to improve their image.

If the surgery is safe, affordable, and will make you feel better about yourself? A secure you is the best you.

Probably more to do with your insecurity about them than the boobs themselves. Girls don't like weakness.

I knew a guy that was like that lost weight and got man boobs. There is hope tho, he worked out and stuck to a serious diet and did reps not mass weights a lot of cardio and trimmed up. You dont need surgery you just need to work at it and be disciplined. This dude had like big saggy t#ts dude and worked em out. Your young so its easier this guy was close to 40 so dont feel bad just get a regiment and stick to it.

when you are an adult you can always plan for breast reduction surgery if it bothers you that much.

First of all, congrats on losing weight and getting healthy!! That's a difficult task.

We ALL want to find someone who accepts us for who we truly are. That includes all those changes we make over the years. And I'm a person who believes there's someone (at LEAST one) for everyone.

Does your chest bother you enough to want surgery? If so, have you researched the procedure? Surgeons?

I'm sorry you had a terrible experience with that girl. Not all women are like that. And those girls who make fun of you while you're out, also bitches. There are great girls who wouldn't do that to you.

diet is perfect. and test levels are high.

tbh im not sure what caused man boobs. it could just be left over fat. but it could also be that my estrogen levels skyrocketed to match my high test levels. i have met one other guy on another forum who had a chest similar to mine before surgery and he said his problem was caused by estrogen spiking to match his high test levels. makes sense. i have all the classic symptoms of high test.

as far as surgery goes i WILL be getting it. i just cant get it at the moment because i am a varsity athlete but i havent gotten offered any scholarships yet. i want to focus all my attention on performing my best during my senior year so that i can get a full ride. and i wont be able to perform well if i have to take time off to recover from chest surgery

no. not at all. im not insecure in any other ares of my life and i dont come off as insecure at all. if anything i may come off as a bit arrogant.

like i said girls like me fine when im wearing the compression shirt. i even approach older girls at the mall and ask for numbers with good results. its only when they realize that i have chest fat that problems arise.

it does bother me to the point where i want surgery. i have a really nice body other than the fact that i have boobs. i workout a lot and i have good genetics. i even have abs. its just the boobs that cause the problem.

like i said i will be getting surgery. its only 5000 dollars and ive already begun saving for it. i just cant get it until after i finish my last year of high school because i need to workout to excel at athletics. if i get the surgery ill be out of the gym for at least 8 weeks possibly longer and i wont be performing up to par .

Well, you're basically wearing a chest girdle because you're ashamed. You don't think that comes off as insecure to women? No matter what you're projecting the rest of the day it doesn't matter.

I was obese in high school and my skin will probably never be the same again no matter how hard I work out. But I honestly haven't had a problem with it. There's no turning the lights out during sex or keeping my shirt on any longer than I have to. And because I don't care about it none of the women I've been with have had issue with it either.

I don't think Simon Cowell has ever had trouble getting laid but he isn't running around wearing a chest girdle. He ain't ashamed.

If that's the case, then my advice is right now don't even worry about it for a second.

The surgery will take care of it. So take care of everything else.

Get the scolly. Get huge. Figure out what you want professionally and after college and get after that. Worry about friends and not girlfriends. M.O.B. etc.

You're 17, you've got a lot of life ahead of you, and your success in battling the weight problem tells me you have a lot of potential. Keep your head up and handle the things you can control now.

If you have the surgery, you won't know.

But answer this. Would you be as into a girl who lost all the hair on her head and eyebrows and eyelashes? (there is a condition that causes this). Would you be as into a girl who was obese? (there are some conditions that make it very difficult to control one's weight). Would you be as into a girl with a double mastectomy or with burns on her face?

Everyone wants to be loved for themselves. But most guys are going to be affected if a female has a problem that makes her look different. Are you? Is attraction really completely blind? Is it for you?

none of the women i talk to know i am wearing a "chest girdle"

and when im not wearing it i dont act any differently then when i am wearing it. but girls still treat me differently.

youre wrong. end of discussion. ive been bullied my whole life and ive become a stronger person for it. idc what people think of me and i act the same whether i am wearing a "chest girdle" or not. its the girls who treat me differently.

this is my life and i live it. your little "confidence is key" advice doesnt work here because im already confident enough. it doesnt matter.

like i said i ALWAYS carry myself the same way no matter what. but when im wearing a "chest girdle" girls love me, they want to flirt with me, the underclassmen giggle and talk about how cute i am.

when i go outside and im not wearing it girls treat me like im a leper.

having man boobs and having loose skin are two completely different situations. its okay to be chubby or have loose skin because you still look normal in a shirt which is all girls care about.

its different when you have a flat stomach and two fat mounds poking out of your chest even when youre in a shirt.

Do your best to lose the weight and see where you are afterward. If you still aren't happy then see a doctor. You may have gyno. I have it a bit, though not severe and I'm slender, so it isn't really noticeable. If it was worse then I wouldn't hesitate to get the surgery done.

At 17 you are still growing. You may grow out of the condition in a couple of years. Keep saving the money. You may not need it for surgery by then so will have a nice nest egg.

Eat only organic meat and poultry so you avoid adding estrogen to your diet. Also avoid anything with soy -- that's what menopausal women are told to eat because of the estrogen they are losing.

I had lost over a hundred lbs some years ago. My thighs are my big issue. The only way they firm up is if I do cardio and squats five days a week for two hours at a time. Obviously I don't have time for this so they are loose again. The only solution I have is wearing only what looks good on me, like NEVER shorts. Keeping jeans in a variety of sizes and letting a guy know pretty quickly about my weight lost. I don't explain but I imagine they get the hint. Luckily my stomach is flat and my breast have remained firm so I accentuate that even if it means thigh high stockings in bed at first. Most of all you have to feel good about what you do have. Be a good person and date girls who are not so shallow. Most girls are hung up about something I am sure they will understand.

Hey,

Two of the guys I had the strongest chemistry with were overweight. I liked them so much that I honestly didn't care when they were on top of me and their bellies hung low. I mean, I can remember what they looked like but I didn't care.

Try to find a woman who falls for you before the clothes come off. See what happens. If I fell for a guy with man boobs and we had something special, I would love him for who he was. If they were out there and in your face in public to the point where people stared, then I admit I would be a little uncomfortable. If only I could see it when the clothes came off? Not a problem. I am not perfect so I would embrace and accept your flaws.

Now, if you truly want to go down the plastic surgery route....All I an say is...... I just went on utube and saw a documentary on a guy who payed hundreds of thousands to look like..

... Justin Beiber.

Yep.

So if a man can transform himself into Justin Beiber..I am sure there is plastic surgery that can remedy your " man boobs"

Good luck with whatever decision you make. I think it'd be lovely to find a woman who loves you as you are but if it is years and you simply can't, then perhaps the surgery will boost your own confidence and in turn, attract a suitable mate.

I would be much more turned off by a guy who had plastic surgery than a guy who had man boobs. If he is so troubled by his own imperfections that he has to pay thousands of dollars to fix them, what is he going to think of MY imperfections? I go to the gym and am in relatively good shape, but I don't have a model's body, and I'm fine with that, and I want my boyfriend to be fine with that too.

Nobody is perfect, and nobody should expect anyone else to be perfect.

This girl said she "didn't care" about your man boobs. Does that mean you had a discussion about it with her? Maybe that is what turned her off. Don't apologize for the way you look. My ex was totally out of shape when we first started dating, but he owned what he had and our sex was great. Dressing well for your body type can also do wonders. Maybe you would look and feel more confident in a different style of shirt?

I recommend losing the compression shirts and just working on chest exercises/waiting for hormones to settle (as recommended by others). Isn't that kind of like when girls wear those bras that make you look two cup sizes bigger? I think girls would be much more turned off by the fact that you are hiding what you look like, not that you have man boobs themselves. Wouldn't you feel a little deceived if a girl with DDs took off her bra, only to reveal a pair of C cups? C cups aren't bad on their own, but you would wonder why she was trying so hard to look like something else.
