Cleveland Curse Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I was just "friendzoned" the other day. She really seemed like the girl of my dreams. We went on four dates - all of which ended in kissing. But it felt weird and reluctant on her part. She had told me she was super cautious so I chalked it up to that. Still, all of the texts she sent were about her and her problems. There were zero comments and no reply to one text by me saying, "I had a great time last night." Being dim, I asked her out again and got a reply saying "there's no clear romantic direction", she feels connected to me but "doesn't know where I fit in her head." So I get it. But the weird part is she said she wants to be friends and "if something ended up evolving out of that through the forces of nature, then so be it." She had also told me that she knew her last boyfriend for years as a friend before they became romantically involved. Any female perspective on why she would allude to a future relationship when she's saying it's best to be friends right now? Thanks!
Guitarisgood Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 First and foremost, she cannot be your first option any more. She has clearly outlined you as a back up so you have to do the same. I'd start dating other woman and make it visibly shown so that she knows. On the other hand if you still like her, here is the time to have some fun. She may say friendships but that allows for greater interactions. Keep the flirting up, be playfully persistent and remember, massages, moments can lead to you going for the kiss regardless and anything can happen from there. Biggest point to take home - you are just an option to her but if you want to keep her around, it's time to up your game.
HappyLove Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Date someone who knows what she wants and is actually in to you!

She can never have too many orbiters.

pickflicker Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 What do you want? If you want to be her friend, be her friend. If you want more, move on to someone else. Bugger what she wants.
