When a girl says hurtful things does she mean it. My ex and I broke up 3 months ago and in between she was still affectionate and protective and we had sex and all. Recently she started being so cold and mean she said I don't give a **** about you. I hate you,you don't mean anything to me and every year I always looked forward to my bday and she suprised me when she said all those hurtful things she also said she doesn't give a **** about my bday. Guys did she really meaning it from the heart or is she just upset and being emotional. The mistake I made was I kept running back because it was my fault we broke up. I kinda give up now. I loved her with all my heart and she destroyed me with words. Is it time to pull the plug or should I take it as something she said to me when she was angry. I'm not those guys to repeat the same mistakes again something tells me we were meant to be. Should I take space and let her miss Me I can't get over the fact she hurt me with words I would never expect that from her.

Its her way of driving you away. She doesn't want you to keep chasing her so she has to resort to hurting you.

So you broke up with her (or it was your fault), and they you went back with the tail between the legs and told her that you didn't mean it, that it was a (sick) joke...

If this was the case, I understand the reaction of your ex (I don't get the meanness and cruelty though) because she is not a plaything, a game you can pause and play again whenever you want... besides, at her eyes you are an indecisive and weak guy...

I would have done the same, my friend (In fact, I have done it already with a couple of fickle girls), let's hope you learned the lesson and in the future you are going to refrain your bad moods or at least, honor your decisions...
