billystalented Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 There is a guy I was dating and we broke up basically because he panicked, and wasn't sure he wanted a girlfriend. (this is what he told our mutual friends) Last Sunday, he called our friend and said he wanted to try and make it work with me, and wanted some help on what to say. The next day, him and I awkwardly bumped into each other, and I was taken aback so we said our awkward hellos and I was on my way. He ended up calling our friend and saying that he felt that I was "stand off-ish and cold" and that I didn't seem interested in talking to him. When I discovered this, I texted him to just say that I was sorry for coming off as awkward, that I was just in a rush (I had no contact with him the entire time since we've broken up, which is about 3 weeks) and that if he wanted to chat sometime, let me know. He replied and said that he did want to chat sometime soon, but that was 2 or 3 days ago now and I haven't heard a thing. Could he have changed his mind?
mangetout Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 He sounds a bit flakey to me. I would be careful with him because it seems like he doesn't know what he wants. Try and move on because you have told him where you stand. It really is up to him to chase you now.
