cleopatrajames Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 (edited) I'm trying to read signals from a guy. I started talking to him after I noticed that he was looking at me for when he thought I couldn't see him. This went on for months. I'm pretty sure he is not shy in general. This is how our conversations go: - If he sees me in advance, he comes and talks, or I start talking, and he keeps the conversation going and seems normal. - If he does not see me in advance and I just start talking, he seems bothered and barely looks me in the eyes, and does not keep the conversation going. Either way, as soon as there's a 2 second silence, he says he has to go, and I always sense that he is awkward and uncomfortable. I told him I liked him and walked away so he could think about it. I thought this would resolve things one way or the other because it's super easy for him to avoid me if he wanted to. We barely know each other or see each other. But, he is not avoiding me, yet not making a move either. he continues to smile at me and wave from a distance like before I told him, but never came up to talk ever since I told him...kind of like he is waiting for me to do it. What should I do? I would think he's not interested but why keep waving and smiling like that? Edited April 1, 2014 by cleopatrajames
