cmack90 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 We had our first date on Tuesday. We kissed on our first date. It was the most interesting first date I have ever been on for a couple of reasons. First off my truck battery actually died and I had to have a buddy come and jump me off after dinner. Secondly, we got pretty intimate. This was approximately 10:30 pm. After my buddy jumped my truck, we found ourselves all alone in the restaurant parking lot. She then asked me how I “Wanted to end the night?” I moved in for the kiss and it was a success. Felt like such a boss. I then added a kiss on her forehead after a long intimate kiss and she told me that I “was the perfect height”. We then left the restaurant and I text her and told her to please let me know that she got home safely. She text me about 15 mins later and said “Home safely! Thanks again for the nightJ” First off is she genuinely into me? Or does she think I’m an idiot for my truck battery dying? Secondly, when should I call her to schedule a second date? I don’t like calling girls after a first date for at least a couple of days because I don’t want to make them feel smothered. The problem is that today is Friday. Calling girls on Friday and Saturday looks desperate, right? So in short, I am shooting for Sunday night (which will be five days). I want to keep the coals hot. I figured anywhere from 2-5 days is appropriate. Is this too long? Is it too late to call her today? I am concerned that I will call while she is at work. I don't know her schedule. She is a waitress, which is how I met her.

It was the most interesting first date I have ever been on for a couple of reasons. You've already waited too long, she may think you're not interested. For future reference, lock down a second date towards the end of the first. Don't be surprised if she thinks a Sunday date is lame. She'll assume you gave your prime time (Friday and Saturday nights) to your other options. So, she's at work? Leave a voicemail! Stop worrying about 'smothering' and 'desperation'; sounds like you've been reading about game playing.
