KevinWill96 Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 I know I've made mistakes, you don't have to tell me. I deserve to be dumped, but I'm praying my girlfriend doesn't do that. Help me with this if you can. My girlfriend went through my phone and saw texts between me and someone else. She saw that I had told them about the first night my girlfriend and I had spent together last fall after breaking up a year before. That night was very special to my girlfriend. It should have stayed between us and been our little memory that only we had to know about. But I had to blab my stupid mouth. I'm supposed to be the one person who she can trust above everyone else. But now I've ruined her ability to trust me. She was suggesting we take a 2 week break so we can both think. I'm crushed. I know I deserve whatever she decides on, but I'm still crushed by it. How can I repair her trust in me? I love her with all of my heart and I don't want to see her leave.
d0nnivain Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Apologize. Tell her point blank you are sorry for being immature & ruining her trust by publicizing something that should have been private. Promise never to do it again & keep that promise. Send her flowers.
lolablue17 Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 May I ask whom did you write to, and what was the most private thing there?
