When I mean big I mean 6ft+, not too fat, but not too thin as well.

That's my favorite body type.

I've never been picky about height and in my area there seems to be a shortage of tall men, so I've typically only been in serious relationships with men between 5'8 - 5'10. In my younger days, I dated a guy that was 5'6 for 2.5 years.

I'm 5'7 and most of my gf's are around 5'2 so I typically feel like an amazon around them, especially with heels on. My guy now is 6'4 and I now understand the whole "wanting a taller man" syndrome. It's hard to explain, but it's really all the little things of being with a tall guy. The way he can just bend over and scoop you into his arms. When you hug him and bury your face in his chest instead of tucking his shoulder under your chin, and then he kisses the top of your head. He makes me feel small and petite and protected. Even laying in bed together feels more comfortable. He's so big that I can just snuggle into his nook, lay my head on his chest, wrap my leg over him and instantly fall asleep. For some reason, with past guys, this was never comfortable, and we always slept apart. There is something so blissfully sweet about having to look up and tilt your head back for a kiss.

So yes, for me as a taller woman, there is an appeal for tall men, but I would never discount someone for not being 6ft. There are much more important things I require for a satisfying relationship.
