But I am a little confused at this certain crossroads. -Our first date went very well, she was super shy at first but really opened up to me and we eventually spent about 4-5 hours together. -Called her a day later to set up a second date, she agreed. -we both initiated texting with each other during the week. -Second date went well again, gave her a kiss on the cheek (not much but she seems to be a little more on the shy/passive side) -texted me about three days in a row afterwards, I always responded and we would have little to long conversations -she is busy this week and can not meet up -Tuesday she agreed to go to an NBA game I have tickets for next Thursday, I was going to call about this but our text convo became a long one so I asked that way. -Have not heard from her since. So this is good right? I don't know how much I should be contacting her though, she seems to like texting, and I really hate talking on the phone even though I know its more personable. I'm also kind of paranoid because I know online things are notorious for random flaking. So what should I do at this juncture? I don't want to contact her too much and seem needy and I don't want to come off as uninterested. Give her a call tonight? this weekend? Not at all? I like her but I have terrible luck with this kind of stuff Thanks in advance

Then call her You feel like texting her? then text her When someone likes you there is very little you can do to change that. If she was just so-so into you she will fade away anyway no matter how often or how little you contact her. Don't get caught up in *rules*. If you feel like texting her each day then do so. 2
J21 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 You're doing fine. Just keep your confidence up and don't let that doubt creep up and make you panic. Just don't go overboard and appear clingy. Gaeta is absolutely right, if she is not that into you, it will eventually fizzle out regardless of what you do. I would probably call, but that's just me. It can be a 10-15 min conversation but at least you're breaking that ice little by little. It seems you have the texting relationship down pretty pat. I wouldn't want a "texting only" relationship. I would definitely try to develop other channels of communication with a person I was interested in.
