Jealousy doesn't protect a relationship, it squeezes the life out of it.

You give leeway and trust in a relationship until you are given a reason otherwise. Not before. You can't safeguard your relationship by being suspicious, it'll have the opposite effect of your intention.

You're going to mess up a good thing here.

This is so true.. Jealousy ruins things .....

I mean these girls have a good thing and they just wanna mess everything....... Really!

whoa, you're totally right. i could see that if i ever DID do something that would cross a boundary (like kissing, being intentional about a sexual flirtation, etc.) he be furious, devastated, and would end things. But other than that, if I flirt a little or hang out w/ an ex, he's cool.

Im a guy, Im like this guy. It stems (for me anyway) from the fact that I was cheated on by a serious partner (fiancée) and I was devastated. I dealt with all of that and got over it (and obviously the fiancée is gone now) and my new outlook is there's no point in being jealous, if something makes me jealous enough to say something about it then the relationship should be terminated.

I don't care if my gf talks to other guys, texts them, talks to an ex and I talk to my ex and other girls. If I think that my girl has crossed a line then I'm going on a date in a few days she wont even get the memo I'll just stop calling.

On your quote though flirting with other guys or exes is a bad idea. Part of his trust is that you wont be flirting. Talking is one thing, flirting is another. I'd put a stop to that. If I was he, I'd be lining up dates...

Some women just need drama in order to form some kind of happiness. When there isn't any, they manifest it in the most ridiculous ways. This is one of them.

Drama as entertainment.

Gd get a hobby or something.

I don't know about anyone else in here, but I know personally that unless you live a very mundane life, drama will find you. No need to go looking for it.
