I told my ex I met someone that I see huge potential with, someone that makes me only want to date him (I posted about dating 2 guys a couple days ago, well that changed :p LOL)

 

My ex is groveling now that the tables are turned. This is so weird. I feel weird. I'm an emotional person as it is so, yes it was very hard and of course I cried. This was hard because I care about his feelings when quite honestly I shouldn't based on how I was treated. Yes I love my ex, but am I in love with him like I thought?

 

I don't think so.

 

NOW, He wants to profess his undying love, and that he's a changed man. NOW, he swears he sees us growing old together. NOW, he swears he will NEVER give up.

 

Where the hell was all of this when my heart was in pieces and all I wanted was for him to realize he made a mistake and come back.

 

It always happens the SECOND, literally the exact SECOND you close the door and move forward.

How long were you with your ex, and how long have you been broken up or been in NC? (if you were in NC)

I love reading this and you are so right, I am happy for you that you made so much progress and have faced and passed the ultimate test of your emotional and mental fortitude :) I only hope one day I have the satisfaction haha so I hope underlined comes true for me soon so I can do the same ;)

My ex's sister commented that if things don't work out with this new guy - I BETTER not go crawling back to her brother because she's been trying to tell me for months that I'm too good for him LOL.

 

It might be hard, and I'm sure I would consider it - but I will try to remain strong ;)

How long were you single for? How long were you with your ex? Also, when you are with the new guy, do you ever miss your ex? I'm just curious...
