Patsy Posted February 7, 1999 Posted February 7, 1999 My boyfriend & I have just quit our good jobs to move to another state because his father is dying. I am now a fulltime student & he has not found a job. We fight almost all of the time. We have been together 1&1/2 years. I resent him for not having found a job yet since i have supported us all of the time before. I can make it on my own yet I love him, but I am tired of arguing. What should i do?
Jeff Klein Posted February 7, 1999 Posted February 7, 1999 If your boyfriend is trying hard to find a job and is making an effort to make your relationship work then you should be supportive especially given his family situation. On the other hand if he is sitting around and mooching off you then you would be much better leaving regardless of your feelings for him. Once he gets himself together if your still interested then you can try to get back together.
