As simply as possible for me now:

Include one full body shot (you in a dress or jeans is fine).

:laugh:I do this too, with the caption, "So you know I am not fat."

Many still think I am fake. The guy I am seeing now was so sure my profile was created by his friends to mess with him, he almost called it off last minute after I traveled an hour to see him. Then he couldn't look at me in the eyes because he was so shocked :lmao:.

Why do some men knock some women down for some things they themselves do?

1. I'd say that's because of a lack of introspection, and societial conditioning. Many men are raised to believe women are supposed to be prim, proper and perfect all the time.

However, there comes a point when they should understand that they're human and shouldn't be held to anything the man doesn't himself do. I'd consider that a part of growing up ya know?

Those who don't acknowledge that never look in for the cause, so the effect is always the same.

And, what do you think of women who are jealous of other women?

It's funny, I was actually reading about something like this today in this book i picked up. There was a passage in it that went a little something like: "Jealousy stems from not acknowledging who you are, instead of just focusing on what you want."

So I'd personally don't think those women are bad. But if they accepted who they are, they won't be insecure about other girls. Even if other women have what she wants, she can get it to. But by knowing who she is at her core, and loving herself above all else. She can attain what she desires without sacrificing her character.

At what age do you guys finally learn that "happy wife, happy life." is the key?

Not to mention, why is it so hard for you guys to be sensitive prince charmings when your lady is pmsing?

How about happy relationship, happy life? And some of these poor guys try to be prince charming and still get their heads bitten off. Personally I would bite back.

I've always viewed it as 'happy spouse, happy M' so I haven't reached 'that age' yet. Marriages are equal opportunity and equal responsibility.

Yeah, I dealt with that and with menopause and with caring for a crazy person, all at the same time. It kind of killed the sensitive prince charming in me :D

Most of us realize by 25 that most women are chronically incapable of being happy long term.

Oh, come on....that's not even a little bit true.

Because most of us would like to be in mature relationships with a fellow adult.

You're a big girl with big girl panties, I don't go around smashing and breaking things because of my testosterone and likewise I expect you to not use your hormones to act like an insufferable ****.

Mature relationship? You do realize that we have no control over it right?

Did you take family health?

I admit it, I become needy and wayyyy too emotional when pmsing. Luckily my man does brilliantly, but every other guy I have been with could not get it through their head that when I am pmsing all reason goes out the window. So coddle me, showing me in attention, and let me be right for a few days about everything.

I'm bleeding out of my vagina, do suck it up and be a white knight.

Thank god I have my man, he is the only man I know of that bends over backwards for me when it's that time of month.

True, one would think women have superior self control.

what makes you think they dont jonas?

Because a rather significant amount of women use their monthly hormone party as an excuse to act like a supreme ****.

It's a hormone party. Hormones that make these ****s bleed.

Pretty good excuse if you ask me, what's yours?

Here we go with the woman bashing generalizations again. Yay.

Not all of us do stupid whiny crap like that. I'm really sorry if every woman you've ever dated has been a b!tch, but that's not really the fault of all women. Maybe it's the women you're choosing.

I don't need an excuse, I accept full responsibility for all of my actions and behaviors. Because im an adult.

so...why are you so down with women......as part of the questions on men and psyche...why do you allow bad or negative relationships to color the whole spectrum of womenhood into one generalization.......which jades you when speaking to women.....you feel you have to put them down? why do you do that

I burp. How many points does this knock me down??
I had an Ex that burped.

Not little "*burp!* Oh, excuse me," kind of burps. These were head-thrown back, mouth wide open, 30 second long BUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRPPPs that would make Homer Simpson woo-hoo with envy.

The odd thing was that she was very proper. She came from money and was obsessed with appearances and always being "appropriate" (God, how I learned to hate that word!). But when the two of us were eating alone, she would always burp. And then she would laugh hysterically like it was the funniest thing in the world.

So to someone like her burping was just fine and dandy, but using the wrong fork to eat your salad was a capital offense.

However, if you are toxic in nature towards women this may not be the thread for you.
Of the people posting here, who considers himself/herself toxic in nature towards women?

I haven't posted here in forever, but I wanna play. :bunny:

I have two (related questions), if you don't mind:

1. If a guy says that he doesn't want to be in a relationship, does that always mean that he really just doesn't want to be in a relationship with you? (Example: he says that, then a few months later will be in a relationship with someone else)

2. Do men say they don't want to be in a relationship but then change their minds? Or is it silly and pathetic for a woman to hope for this...

No. It means he doesn't want to be in a relationship.

My opinion. Chances are that he was not emotionally attracted to you, so he didn't want to be in a relationship with ya. I'd take him at his word and leave it there. This way you don't open yourself up to games.

2. Do men say they don't want to be in a relationship but then change their minds? Or is it silly and pathetic for a woman to hope for this...

I think some people can change their minds. But if someone's flip flopping on you..I'd personally rather go for someone who wants me from the get go. Instead of constantly debating whether or not I can bring value to their life.

You're a very important person. I think it's best to find someone who sees your worth from the get go.

That age varies due to so many different factors. You have a lot of men who want to just chill and enjoy life. I can tell you though, the longer he's with you, the better the odds he will want to tie the knot.

(If you want me to take it up a notch, I sometimes theorize that some men rather settle down later because they tend to be a lot more undersexed/sowed a lot less oats than women, so that urge to settle down gets delayed. But that's for another post.)

Now the pmsing thing..well.. no one likes to be yelled at
