I think the original question has been addressed by many people, and the discussion has ranged far beyond the original question. Not pointlessly, I might add. I think it's great that the thread has been able to provide insight into the experiences of obese people, and has fostered discussion about what is without question a genuine health problem in many industrialized countries.
