I'm not offended - he is just an idiot.

 

I was offended at people who said that doing a degree that is not immensely difficult and heavy in science and/or math is USELESS.

 

They obviously have not seen the career possibilities for social sciences (such as HR which is well paid enough, as well as many government jobs)

 

So yeah... It is not all or nothing for me. I am not doing a super hard science degree with math in it, because I will hate those 4 years of my life and it would be utter hell.

 

 

 

Primary school teaching is something I am about to put down on me application as a second choice...

Imo, you will do best in that which you are blessed to do. That that you enjoy and have a particular liking/love or strength for.

 

Follow or work toward that field.

Personally, I would go for the Math and Sciences. Yeah, it's harder, but it really pays off in the end once you see the money start flowing in. Plus, I get much more of an accomplished state of mind knowing I'm doing what many others tried to do and failed. :)
