I keep hearing from men who don't think too highly of women that women crave sperm from jerks but expect the good and stable men to help raise these kids. Is this true or just delusion talking?

The bigger question is why do you entertain anything that men who don't think highly of women say?

Sounds like you're hearing from weak men that are making excuses as to why they can't get laid.

 

It IS possible to have the qualities of both types of men: the sexual qualities of the "bad guy" with the good qualities of the "nice guy." It's rare, yes, but exceptional people are always rare.

It's delusion. It happens, but within a certain demographic. They just act like it happens everywhere and every woman does the same thing. Victimhood if you ask me.

 

If we really want to limit things like this happening, we won't be on an internet board talking about it, we'd be doing something regardless of what anyone says. Anyway, it doesn't happen as much as they say it does anyway.

My opinion of women is more middle of the road but I can say I dated mostly single mothers in my 20's and 30's and very few of them had positive things to say about their former spouses/partners. 'He's a good guy but things just didn't work out' was rarely or never heard. Does that equate to them craving bad boy sperm and looking to a man like myself to raise their kids? Unknown. During that period most of the complaints were related to abuse, alcoholism and drug use. None that I can recall mentioned the men were incarcerated. So, mixed bag I guess.

I hear it on this forum. I guess I just needed confirmation that my paranoia was creeping up again. 95% of my gender war threads are just so I can be proven wrong.

interesting question, Wogs ... my theory is that women want a bad boy to reform, but if she's smart, she'll realize that she doesn't want to have his kid because she'll have tired of him and his games, and a baby would only keep her tied to him. The smart woman wants a good man who'll be a good dad, period.

 

the screwed-up ones are the ones who convince themselves that the "bad boys" will be good dads (and I'm sure there are guys out there who are, but I'm not gonna bet the farm on there being a lot of 'em). Or, they believe that having a kid with said bad boy will forever link him to her ... either way, it's warped thinking, IMO

Check yourself. You heard it one thread from a newbie poster. It is not the type of rhetoric you are getting from the RNC on the evils of Obama or the DNC on the evils of Romney. It is not a prevalent philosophy and I think you know that deep inside...

To answer your question, yes - I suspect it's true that you keep hearing from men like this, but I can't for the life of me work out why you keep listening to them. I mean, really Woggle, wtf? :mad:

I must be living a sheltered life because never have I heard of the term bad boy sperm and never have I heard of women craving it.

 

I'm trying to envision any of my girlfriends saying "Mmm... he's a bad boy, with bad boy sperm, and I crave it." I think you've been watching too many pornos.
