reginald_thm Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I met a girl last weekend at a bar. Hit off, got her number, and even kissed her a few times. Called her a few days later to set up a date. She said she was available Sunday, we were going to go to a coffee shop, she seemed very into it. Sunday morning she texts me, "I am really sick today. Cannot make it. Going to have to take a raincheck. Sorry." Is this a polite let down? I'm not sure. I want to believe she might be actually sick, but she did not suggest a time to make up for it and that worries me. Right now I want to text/call her maybe midweek and see if she's interested in something next weekend.
mortensorchid Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Text/call next week to see if she is still interested. No response, then you have your answer. But if you get a response, then that's another story. 1
the ill-made knight Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 If she really is sick, I can understand then not suggesting a time for a makeup date because obviously one doesn't know when one will be well after being sick. I'd text her midweek to check on her, if she responds everything is good.
