veggirl Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Yes, you have to be patient. You can't expect to be over it in 5 days. Just keep doing what you are doing, keep maintaining NC and it will come. It takes a while...sorry if there was a quick cure we would never suffer from heartbreaks but there isn't one, and we have all suffered and lived to tell about it and find happiness with other people. Just keep in mind you are soo young...this guy will be nothing but a one-sentence long anecdote someday.
serialgf Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 can you go out of town and stay with friends? that is always the best thing for me to "fast track" getting over really bad heartbreak.
scatterd Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I remember so well how it feels. Stay busy. The hardest time for me was When I got up in the morning . I would have to make myself go in the morning, as a matter of fact then come night I tired myself out. It does get easier. Big Hugs
