paperboy48 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Someone told me the other day...that my ex is still finding herself. What does this mean exactly, I mean seriously....where did she go?
WeirdExs Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Honestly, it means that she doesn't want to be with you. I don't buy the whole finding yourself or I just need some space right now. It's a cowardly way to skirt the truth because if she wanted to be with you then she would. Maybe she comes back but I'm personally not one to be waiting around left thinking about it with a glimmer of hope. It may suck that she doesn't want to be with you but I can tell you that there are so many more girl that do actually want to be with you. That is why I don't stick around. Maybe I sound too negative but those phrases make me bitter because of the false hope that they give. 1
KatZee Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 It means there's someone else and she's exploring that option. It's a crock of crap and they say this just to ease the sting of the breakup.
Tree_Salmon Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Someone told me the other day...that my ex is still finding herself. What does this mean exactly, I mean seriously....where did she go? It means shes f**king as many guys as she can before she hits 30. Then she'll settle for a guy who's half as good as you were. feel better yet? 1

k100danny Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Depends on the context I think. If someone says i want space and need to find myself then yeah this sounds like just a way out of the relationship. It may mean they feel the lost some of themselves or changed in the relationship as a lot of people do and they just want to do what they please for a while and figure out what they want but it certainly means that it's over whatever way it was said.
flitzanu Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Someone told me the other day...that my ex is still finding herself. What does this mean exactly, I mean seriously....where did she go? "i want to be alone and find myself" = "i want to bang other people" it's the easy way of saying she wants out of the relationship.
