You have your experiences while they have theirs, so by the same token, disregarding or otherwise refuting their experiences is equally naive. They have good intentions of trying to get you to progress. It's one thing to identify and recognize certain adversity in your life, but it's another to hide behind that adversity. I know that all too well myself. Look at that generalization. It's like saying "people enjoy sex", that's how obvious it is

Neptune is the place for you if you're a 23 year old who's preemptively rejecting 25 year olds because of something in his head.

And I find it offensive the whole dating older men who are using us. 28 isn't even old. I date pretty much all ages but to say all men around the 30 age marker are merely using us "young" women is bull. 30 isnt even close to what is considered old. So naive you are. You dont hear men talk in groups, so youll never know the truth. Theres a reason guys usually end up with girls closer to their age when they settle down.

Yes and No. I agree with her that you can't say 'all men around the 30 age marker are merely using us "young" women'. Plenty will see her as a fling, then quite a few will want a full on relationship but probably not see her as future wife (not long term thing)...which I certainly don't consider 'using' the woman. Then there will be some who at 30ish will be looking to settle down and will be happy to have sweet young wife. A guy who is a lawyer or accountant at a blue chip firm might pass up of having a junior gf/wife, but the guy who's a production planner or electrician likely wont care less about whether their set of friends and employer think she's a little young for him.

I don't want an 18-20 year old because I want her to be able to go out with me and my friends (although I would be willing to make an exception) plus younger women are completely retarded. Truth be told, I get along great with people in their mid to late 20s but I'm not going to ask out a 25 year old because I know women are incredibly weird about dating guys who are younger by even a year My dad is two years younger than my mother. But she's an exception, so that doesn't count, right? (It does count.)

Did they start dating in their late 20s/30s? Age differences matter less and less as you get older. They obviously make a huge difference in your early 20s
